on the bike
I made a little bag for mr A's bike over the weekend. He gets around all over the place on this bike, the school drop off run, to preschool and lots of other places too. He likes to bring things with him and so far I've ended up carrying all the extras, his own bag was needed. I made it out of some sturdy denim and I used some embroidered patches (thrifted) that I'd had for a while to add a bit of interest. I lined it with some fabric that I bought of Melissa a while ago, it's her "branches and stones" design. I winged it with the pattern and I'm really pleased with how it turned out - not to mention that now I've got more room in my bag! He loves it too and happily posed for these pics, he's off to preschool this morning and the bag is getting it's first trial run. I think I love sewing things like this the most, a solution to a little problem, making life just that little bit easier!

That bag is great! I love denim bags and have many, including a denim nappy bag, but not one for my bike @plots@ x
